Funeral for Josephine Griffiths

Created 3 years ago

Funeral service is at Christ Church in Chilwell on Wednesday 3rd February 2021 at 10am.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic current national lockdown, numbers are limited to 30 for the funeral service and the wake is limited to 6 only.

Due to the risks to all in travelling across the country to a funeral, we do not expect many/if anyone to wish to travel, especially as there can be no gathering afterwards. However, anyone who wishes to travel is more than welcome though we would ask that you please confirm in advance to ensure you are confirmed within the remaining 20 slots before travelling.

We plan to hold a memorial service and garden celebration later in the year in order to mark Josie's life once the pandemic is over.

Donations
Donations in memory of Josie will be given to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, in support of our local Attenborough Nature Reserve where as a family we have spent many a happy and mindful hour amongst the plentiful wildfowl population on the banks of the River Trent. We may also have frequented the cafe once or twice as well :-). With sufficient donations, a 'Memory Leaf' will be mounted on one of the park benches dedicated to Josie. A place to reflect and think of all those happy times.

£601.25 inc giftaid was raised for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust
